Hybrid (Lisbon)

Key Responsibilities

• Daily administration and maintenance of DB2 for z/OS databases

• Execution and monitoring of DB2 utilities (RUNSTATS, REORG, LOAD, UNLOAD, RECOVER)

• Performance analysis and tuning for CICS transactions and batch processes

• Management of tablespaces, indexes, buffer pools, storage groups, and physical database structures

• Support development teams with SQL optimization, access path analysis, and resource consumption

• Monitoring and troubleshooting using tools such as Omegamon, Mainview, or Query Monitor

• Participation in version upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensuring database availability, stability, and security in a high‑availability environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DBA DB2 for z/OS

• Solid knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, CICS, and mainframe fundamentals

• Strong understanding of performance tuning and SQL optimization

• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams

• English proficiency at B2 level or above

• Must be living in Portugal and able to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon
